About this Role

St Margaret's, part of Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust, have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join the office team as an Administration Assistant on a part-time, fixed term contract basis. The post holder will be required to work 24 hours per week,  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday term time /38 weeks plus 24 hours (includes working INSET days) to be worked as agreed with the line manager.  / Paid at grade  5 pt 7

This is a key position in the school, being the face of the school and first point of contact for parents, visitors and the school community. The post holder will undertake a full range of administrative duties with regard to student attendance and general school office support. As Administration Assistant you can expect to support the Office team in offering excellent customer service to the school; ensuring the administration of the school runs efficiently and effectively. You will be expected to build strong positive professional relationships with our families and stakeholders, answering telephone calls and deal with general enquiries, forwarding more complex enquiries where appropriate.

This post is for 24 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (38 weeks term time + 24 hours worked as agreed with your line Manager.  1 year fixed contract initially.   The working days will be Mondays, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.  Actual working times to be agreed.
