We are seeking a talented and
enthusiastic Religious Education teacher who is committed to upholding and
supporting the Catholic ethos of our school. The ideal candidate will bring
strong subject knowledge, high expectations, and a passion for inspiring young
people in their spiritual and academic growth. They will be able to deliver
engaging and thoughtful lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity,
reflection, and a love of learning. We are looking for someone who is
reflective and committed to highly intentional, evidence‑informed teaching, and
who recognises that Christ is at the centre of our school community,
contributing positively to the collaborative culture and continued success of
our high‑performing department. While experience of teaching GCSE is desirable,
we welcome applicants at all stages of their career who are eager to develop
and make a meaningful impact within our community.

Has a deep understanding of Religious Education as the ‘core of the core’ in a Catholic school.
Recognises how Catholic education helps shape thoughtful, compassionate individuals.
Can deliver engaging and reflective lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, and Core RE at Key Stage 5.
Is committed to upholding and promoting the values of our Catholic faith-based community.
Brings creativity, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to the classroom and beyond.
For the right candidate, there could be future opportunities to deliver the Religious Studies A Level course.
