Site Facilities Officer

Permanent Position

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (all year round)

Working Patterns (Rotating Shifts):

Early Shift

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Friday: 6:00am – 1:30pm

Mid Shift

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

Late Shift

Monday to Thursday: 11:00am – 7:00pm

Friday: 11:00am – 6:30pm

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Facilities Officer to join our Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our school community.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school site, supporting staff and students by delivering high-quality facilities management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the security of the school buildings and surrounding grounds
  • Respond promptly and effectively to site-related requests
  • Carry out general maintenance and minor repair work
  • Assist with the heating, lighting and overall upkeep of the premises
  • Undertake cleaning duties as required
  • Maintain accurate records using IT systems
  • Support compliance with Health & Safety regulations
