Salary Range: Grade D - Between FTE £24,891 - £26,930 / Actual £19,063 - £20,625 + SEN Allowance Cost of living pay uplift pending from 1st April 2026 (subject to agreement).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join Brays School., on a 12 month fixed term contract
Brays School is a special day school. We offer places for children with physical difficulties, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, visual impairment, hearing impairment, multisensory impairment and complex medical needs.

Teaching Assistants are responsible for supporting and leading small groups and individuals with Maths, English, Reading, SEMH, vocational and practical activities, supporting pupils to develop resilience, social skills and self-esteem, and deploying effective strategies for supporting children and young people who may communicate through behaviours of concern.
The successful candidate will have:

Hold a NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience would be desirable
