We are looking to appoint an inspirational
Assistant Headteacher to join the team at Thomas Eaton Primary Academy.
Although we are a small school, we are mighty in spirit, and we are seeking the
right person to help drive our continued success. This is an exciting time to
become part of our leadership team and, depending on experience, the role will
be offered on the Upper Pay Scale (UPS) or Leadership Scale.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding
classroom practitioner, capable of both supporting and challenging all pupils
to reach their full potential. Proven experience in leadership and in driving
improvements in teaching and learning is essential. Ideally, the candidate will
take responsibility for leading a core subject; therefore, experience in
leading either English or Mathematics would be advantageous.
We are seeking an individual who will serve as a
role model for high-quality teaching and learning, making a significant
contribution to raising pupils’ standards and outcomes. The successful
candidate will be flexible, well organised, and confident in overseeing the
day-to-day running of the school in the absence of the Headteacher.
Strong communication skills and the ability to
work collaboratively with the wider senior leadership team are essential.
Experience and expertise in EYFS and KS1 would be beneficial.
We are committed to providing high-quality
professional development, with opportunities for further career progression
across the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust.
At Thomas Eaton Primary Academy, you will be
part of a supportive and ambitious Trust that holds high aspirations for both
pupils and staff. We truly value our team and offer a wide range of
professional development opportunities within the Partnership.
The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is a charitable
multi-academy trust specialising in the Primary sector. We are building a
thriving community of schools that succeed on behalf of their children. The
Family of Academies within the Trust currently incorporates three hubs: St
Neots, Fenland and Royston.
Further benefits include:
· Opportunities to train/work with other
academies within the Diamond
Learning Partnership Trust to share best practice and resources
· A collaborative approach
working alongside two other schools in our
‘mini-hub’
· Teacher Pension Scheme
· A caring, fun and supportive
working environment
· Opportunities for career progression, both within school and across the Trust
