About the Role:
We are looking for a classroom teacher who brings strong classroom practice and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. This role is ideal for a teacher with strong, proven classroom practice and the ability to establish a calm, purposeful, and inclusive learning environment. You’ll bring a thoughtful, proactive approach to classroom management and be confident in using a range of positive strategies to support and promote excellent behaviour for learning.
A clear understanding of inclusive teaching is essential. You’ll be adept at identifying and addressing diverse needs within your class, including children with SEND. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure that all children are fully included, supported, and challenged in their learning journey.
The assistant SENCO role is to support our inclusion team in providing high quality and bespoke provision to our children with SEND. Time is given for this work and a special interest in SEND is essential. This role involves direct work with children, as well as working with other agencies to support children's needs.
