About this Role

Join Our Team - Phase Leader

At Leamington Primary Academy, we are dedicated to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment where both our pupils and staff can thrive. We are excited to be recruiting a class teacher and KS1 phase leader, to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, experienced teacher who is ready to make a difference at a leadership level.

As a proud member of the Flying High Partnership, we believe in delivering an exceptional education that empowers children to reach their full potential. Our school is a vibrant and supportive environment where our children and staff thrive, creativity is encouraged, and every child is at the heart of our decisions. The school's motto is 'Nurture and Love to Educate'. At Leamington, the children are at the forefront and we work tirelessly to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning, as well as a fantastic personal development offer. Our school is at the heart of the Leamington community and we are proud of everything that we achieve everyday.

If you’re an aspiring school leader with a passion for raising standards, developing outstanding teaching and leading, and inspiring children through our curriculum, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

The role includes a teaching commitment and leadership time, balanced to support our school's continuous improvement and your own development. This is a key role for someone with a relentless drive to improve outcomes, who is ready to lead across the school and contribute to its long-term vision.

We Can Offer You:

  • A commitment to people across our partnership, underpinned by our people principles: adaptability, wellness, recognising achievement, employee voice and engagement, professional development and growth, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • A clear leadership development pathway, including access to the full suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), delivered through our very own Teaching School Hub.
  • Access to extensive, high-quality CPL at every stage of your career, including opportunities to grow as a leader.
  • A leadership role with strategic responsibility for the KS1 team, focussed on standards of teaching and learning. You will also be a part of the school leadership team.
  • The opportunity to progress across the partnership, realising your career ambitions.
  • A balance of class responsibility and leadership time, tailored to school needs.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering specialist support including counselling, financial support, and legal advice.
  • A fantastic workplace where magic happens every day for both children and staff.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a consistently strong classroom practitioner, with high expectations and a belief that all children can achieve.
  • Has experience in whole-school leadership.
  • Delights in being with children and puts their well-being and success at the heart of everything, helping them to overcome barriers.
  • Embraces creativity and has a positive outlook on life.
  • Is fascinated by the learning process and actively seeks new ideas and research.
  • Is willing to take risks and explore innovative opportunities to enable every child to thrive.
  • Is committed to continually developing as a facilitator of learning.
  • Loves supporting and inspiring fellow staff and children.
  • Has great ideas and is eager to share them!
  • Sincerely values every member of the school community.
  • Believes in each child and has high aspirations for their achievement.
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for inclusive, values-led education.
  • Is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure every child gets an exceptional offer!
