Morice Town Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experience After School Club Assistant to join the School in September 2026.

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade A Point 3, £24, 796
Actual Annual Salary: £6709 Pro Rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 11.25 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic School Club
Assistant to join our Afterschool Club provision
from September 2026. We are seeking to employ a creative individual who will
make a positive contribution to our busy and friendly club. The role will
require:
- To ensure the smooth and
reliable operation of the club
- To provide a stimulating environment for the children with creative and play
opportunities
- To
assist in ensuring the safety of all those children at the club
- To
act in a responsible manner towards the children at all times
- To
be responsible for ensuring that play materials
and equipment are properly used, maintained
- To
assist with the day to day administration and record-keeping
- Preparing
and serving afternoon snack to the children
- Escorting
children
About the successful candidate
- Experience
of working with parents and carers from a range of cultural backgrounds,
encouraging full participation in their children's play and learning
opportunities
- Experience
of working as part of team providing high quality childcare services
- At
least 2 years' experience of working with children in the 4-11 years age
range and their families
- Knowledge
of child protection issues and policies and relevant Safeguarding
procedures
- Already
holding a first aid and/or food hygiene qualification would be
advantageous.
