Your
role:
As a
Teaching Assistant in our specialist non-verbal ASD hub, you’ll play a vital
part in helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full
potential. Working closely with teachers and our dedicated SEND team, you’ll
support pupils through tailored learning activities, encourage independence,
and provide care where needed. This role is hands-on, rewarding, and requires
creativity, patience, and a genuine commitment to inclusion.
You’ll
need strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to individual needs, and
a positive, proactive approach. Experience of working with children is essential. Experience of working with children with
additional needs is desirable, but what matters most is your enthusiasm and
willingness to learn.
Fluency
Duty: As this role involves direct interaction with the public, it is essential
that the candidate meets the Fluency Duty requirements as outlined in the
Immigration Act 2016. The successful candidate must demonstrate fluency in
English to ensure effective communication with our staff, parents and pupils.
