Your role:
We are
seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to lead our Explorers
Room, a specialist provision for children with ASD and higher needs who are
unable to access mainstream classrooms. This exciting opportunity is for three
days a week, working closely with a committed team to deliver the very best
outcomes for our children.
As the
teacher for The Explorers Room, you will lead a team of four skilled TAs,
including a room leader. You will plan and deliver personalised curricula and
targets, tailored to the needs of each child. Collaboration with our highly
experienced SENCO and wider team is essential to ensure every child thrives.
You will foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring all staff and
children feel supported and valued.
You are a
qualified teacher with a passion for SEND and a deep understanding of the
challenges and opportunities in working with children with ASD. You have strong
leadership skills, the ability to inspire and guide your team, and experience
in creating and managing personalised learning plans. You are positive,
proactive, and committed to getting the best for every child.
