Salary: Pathway 3, £8,894
- £9,484, (FTE £26,409 – £28,163) per annum

Your
role:
As a
Play Worker (Wraparound Provision) at Gladstone Primary Academy, you will play
a crucial role in providing extended care during our after-school club. Your
responsibilities will include supervising children, organizing activities, and
utilizing our outdoor play and learning resources (OPAL). You will deliver a
programme of activities tailored to the children’s age and needs.
You
will need strong literacy skills for record-keeping, an understanding of food
hygiene rules, and knowledge of health and safety practices. A commitment to
providing high-quality childcare is essential. You must be able to plan and
deliver age-appropriate activities and have experience working with children in
a play work or educational setting. Adherence to the academy's safeguarding and
prevent policy and procedures is mandatory.
Fluency
Duty: As this role involves direct interaction with the public, it is essential
that the candidate meets the Fluency Duty requirements as outlined in the
Immigration Act 2016. The successful candidate must demonstrate fluency in
English to ensure effective communication with our staff, parents and pupils.
