Goosewell Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Cleaner to join the School 4yh September 2023.

Post: Cleaner

Location: Goosewell Primary Academy, Plymouth, PL9 9HD

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade A - £12.65 per hour, £1,837 per year

Contract Type: Permanent / Part time,  (41 weeks per year)


Contract Hours: 3 hours per week (1 hour Tuesday and 2 hours Friday) with the opportunity to take more hours later in the academic year. 

 We are looking to recruit a cleaner to join our friendly team as soon as possible.  Duties to include general cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors and washrooms.  You will be required to work during specific times during the Easter and Summer holidays for a deep clean.

The Person: We require a candidate that can provide high quality cleaning skills to the current team of cleaners.

Goosewell Primary Academy is a successful, highly regarded three-form entry primary academy with a PAN of 630. The Academy was inspected in December 2019 and received a Good rating: ‘Pupils thrive at Goosewell Primary Academy. They enjoy learning and making friends. Many pupils told inspectors that the school was very friendly and that pupils were kind and well behaved. Pupils learn about the importance of acting respectfully and with empathy for others throughout the curriculum.’

About the Trust

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.  We operate 16 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.  We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
