The Role - Base Teacher with TLR and SEND Allowance

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated SEND Lead Teacher to lead and manage provision for pupils with moderate to complex learning needs across Key Stages 1 and 2 within the SEN Unit at Woodside Primary School.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is committed to inclusive education and ensuring every child achieves their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and coordinating high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and pastoral support tailored to the individual needs of pupils within the provision.
Working closely with the Assistant Head of Inclusion, you will play a key role in developing effective strategies and interventions to support both learning and wellbeing. The role also involves liaising with local authorities, parents, and a range of external agencies to ensure pupils receive the highest level of support.
The successful candidate will be appointed on the Teachers’ Main Pay Scale/UPS, plus TLR2A (£3,527 FTE per annum) and SEN1 allowance (£2,787 per annum). This is a full-time, permanent position.
