About this Role

Why Join Us?

At Park Primary Academy, we invest in our teachers. Through high-quality mentoring, coaching and bespoke CPD, you will receive the guidance, challenge and encouragement needed to grow into a confident, reflective practitioner. Whether your aspirations lie in subject leadership, pastoral care or wider school development, we are committed to helping you take the next steps.

You will benefit from:

  • A collaborative team who share ideas and celebrate success
  • Strong academy-wide support and professional networks
  • A modern, spacious learning environment
  • Excellent transport links (A13, local bus routes and C2C station nearby)

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll design and deliver imaginative, personalised lessons that engage pupils, spark curiosity and support their individual development. Working alongside therapists and support staff, you’ll help create a holistic, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive — academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for teaching children with SEND needs.
  • Creates engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences
  • Has high expectations for every child
  • Is reflective, open to feedback and eager to develop
  • Thrives as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
