This is an exciting
opportunity for an experienced and ambitious practitioner to shape the
strategic direction of EYFS and ensure children make excellent progress in
preparation for Key Stage 1 and beyond. The successful
candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team and will play a key
role in driving high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.

The Role
As EYFS
Lead, you will:
· Lead
and manage the EYFS curriculum, staff team and resources
· Drive
improvement in teaching and learning across EYFS
· Monitor
pupil progress and use assessment to inform strategic planning
· Ensure
high-quality provision that supports excellent outcomes for all pupils
· Lead
transition arrangements with local nurseries and pre-schools
· Support
and develop colleagues through coaching and collaboration
· Promote
strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
· Lead
early reading and phonics development (where appropriate)
The role will also
include class teaching responsibilities within EYFS.
We are looking for
someone who:
· Holds Qualified
Teacher Status (QTS)
· Has
strong experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage
· Has
a deep understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework
· Demonstrates
strong leadership and organisational skills
· Has
high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising standards
· Is
reflective, motivated and committed to professional development
· Works
collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community
