PolyMAT is a small and ambitious MAT with a unique family feel that is seeking a Teacher of Food Technology. Our vision is ‘Success for Everyone’ and the successful candidate will help deliver this for our schools. We currently have three schools in our Trust: Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys, a long-successful boys’ school, Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls that opened in 2019, and Bannockburn Primary School, a large successful primary that joined the Trust on 1st November 2023. We also have our flourishing Sixth Form provision which is co-educational.

the success of our first ever Ofsted inspection at Woolwich Polytechnic School
for Girls, we are looking for dedicated teachers that will join us on our
journey in delivering an outstanding education for all our students. By joining

Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls are
looking to appoint an exceptional teacher
of Food Technology with a dynamic and inspirational approach to teaching,
an individual that will become an integral part of the department, who will
support the department in achieving its ambitious targets and goals. This is a
fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ECT.
We would like a teacher who believes in collaboration both for students
and when working with colleagues. The
ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to extra-curricular activities
within the department as well as the pastoral life of the school as a form
tutor.
We are looking for a teacher who has:

A
genuine aptitude for teaching Food Technology, which is clearly
demonstrated in the classroom

Has multiple skills
within food technology and can confidently teach across Food Preparation and
Nutrition at KS3 with a specialism at KS4
·
A proven record
of delivering high-quality lessons resulting in
excellent outcomes.
·
Ability to work within
and add value to an already highly effective, creative, and
motivated team.
·
The ability to develop
and constantly modify exceptional practice in-line with a continually
changing climate.
·
A desire to further
raise overall achievement and success of Food Technology within the
school.
