City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint an exceptional and ambitious Assistant Principal Sixth Form for September 2026. You will join our academic Sixth Form, Islington Collegiate Sixth Form (ICS). You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or to take the next step in your career. For the past two years our provision is firmly established within the top 1% nationally for student progress and has been recognised with the prestigious Alps Diamond awards. Our students are intrinsically motivated and highly aspirational achieving on average A- and progressing to an exceptional range of destinations including degree apprenticeships, leading universities across the UK and internationally with a 100% Russell Group offer rate.

About you

You will share our passion, ambition and commitment to further strengthen our position as a sector-leading Sixth Form, ensuring that every student is empowered to achieve academic excellence and realise their full potential. You will work with and line manage the Head of Sixth Form as well as the Deputy Head of Sixth Form and the Sixth Form Coordinator to continue to achieve outstanding results. You must be able to teach any subject up to KS5. You will join a SLT team of two Vice Principals and four Assistant Principals under the direct supervision of the Principal. You will have the opportunity to develop academically and personally.
