We require a passionate and inspirational Cover Supervisor to join our thriving team at Callington Community College where the community is at the heart of everything we do. This is a temporary post covering a maternity leave. The successful candidate will oversee classes during the short-term absences of teaching staff. Appropriate work will be provided, and it will be your role to manage student behaviour and keep them focused on tasks.
You will need to be flexible, have a desire to work with young people, and a calm and authoritative manner. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching or for someone qualified but seeking further school experience.
You will be well supported by a range of colleagues and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met.

Callington Community College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance, which will include, if appropriate, a letter of good conduct from any country in which an applicant has worked or lived in within the last 5 years, plus prudent checks of references and employment history. The interview will include questions about safeguarding children.
