About this Role

Location: Albert Pye Primary School, Suffolk
Contract: Permanent, Part-time, 8.75 hours, Mon- Fri (1.75 per day), Term Time
Salary: ALT Grade C (£4,903.28 - £4,980.20 Actual)

We are looking for someone who brings warmth, reliability and a steady presence to our wrap around care team at Albert Pye Primary School, a well regarded primary school in the Beccles community. You will help the club run smoothly by supervising play, supporting routines and encouraging positive behaviour so that every child feels secure and included. This is a role where people matter, teamwork is essential and small moments make a big difference. It offers the chance to support pupils’ wellbeing in a setting shaped by strong values and a commitment to care.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during breakfast or after school club, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  • Support pupils with simple tasks such as hygiene, eating, dressing and resolving minor disagreements.
  • Set up, clear away and safely manage club equipment, tables, chairs and dining areas, including cleaning spillages.
  • Monitor indoor and outdoor areas used by pupils to maintain a safe environment and report concerns or incidents to staff.
  • Communicate appropriately with pupils and staff, encouraging participation in activities and sharing relevant information about behaviour or incidents.
