About this Role

Job Title: Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Terms: 1.0 FTE / Perm

Salary: MPS/UPS

Location: Chaddlewood Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join Westcountry Schools Trust at Chaddlewood Primary School.

Chaddlewood Primary School is a two-form entry school set in extensive grounds in Plympton. Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place in November 2022 and judged us overall to be a 'Good' school and 'Outstanding' for behaviours and attitudes and personal development. We are looking to appoint an inspirational and creative Key Stage 2 teacher to join our accomplished and dedicated team for September 2026.

If you have the commitment and dedication to work in a school that is continually striving to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being, your application would be very welcome.

Westcountry Schools Trust is a multi-academy trust of 26 schools, currently employing approximately 2,500 staff and growing. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Our values inform our work and we hope you agree these are key to success.

For an informal discussion regarding this role, please contact Mr Joseph Hardman on jhardman@chaddlewoodschool.org.uk

If you believe you can demonstrate the dedication, skills and passion required, we look forward to receiving your application.

ECTs are welcome to apply.

Tours of the school are encouraged and by appointment only, please contact the school office.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post.
