About Plympton St Maurice Primary School
Welcome to Plympton St Maurice Primary School, a small, one
form entry primary school where every child is noticed. Our school is a
welcome, calm learning environment where our staff team recognise the
importance of being an individual, with individual needs and differences.
Our school grounds are unique. The school itself comprises

we have a larger than average school field with our own forest school area (and
outdoor classroom) as well as a purpose build foundation area (covered for all
weather use) and playground with equipment to keep the most active entertained.
Our children behave incredibly well in school and follow our
three key principles of being safe, being kind and being ready to learn. Our
staff are dedicated to improving the life chances of all children with our
shared vision of ‘Nurturing curiosity to allow happy, aspirational children
