Vacancy for Teacher of Learning Support – 20% to 40% of full time hours available
Salary: Teacher Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN allowance £2,787 (pro rata)
Hours of work: 20% to 40% of full time
We are
looking for an outstanding practitioner to join our SEND team and help us
develop and implement a bespoke provision for a nurture group of learners
working at Entry Levels 1-3. You must be passionate about education, and about
ensuring students with additional needs made outstanding progress within the
curriculum. Ideally you would have a proven track record of successful SEN
teaching across different key stages, and you must believe that all students
can succeed. You will be required to deliver a range of subjects including
English and Maths up to Functional Skills Level 1.
We welcome applications from both primary and secondary qualified teachers, due to the range of subjects you would be required to teach and the cognitive age of the students.
This post will be a wonderfully rewarding experience for the successful candidate as they will be joining a supportive team which is part of our wider Meridian family of teachers.
