We
are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and skilled Level 2 Teaching
Assistant to join our dedicated team, specialising in Early Years. You
will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest
learners in Nursery and Pre-school, guiding them toward a future filled with
curiosity and confidence.
The Role
The
successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years Room Leaders to
support high-quality teaching and learning.
Key
Responsibilities
·
Support individuals and groups of
children in activities, both inside and outside, under the direction of the
Class Teacher.
·
Work 1:1 with individual children where
needed to offer support
·
Prepare, set-up, manage and clean
teaching materials and organise supplies of resources as requested by the Class
Teacher.
·
Support good classroom discipline,
reinforcing standards of behaviour and tidiness within the classroom.
·
Assist with preparation of display boards
as well as helping to mount displays of work.
·
Support new children when they first
enter Nursery / Pre-school.
·
Administer first aid and comfort to sick
children appropriately including support for toileting.
·
Maintain effective, professional
relationships with colleagues, children and parents.
Essential
· Experience of working as part of a team.
· Experience of working with children.
· Ability to interact with children and support their involvement
in a range of activities.
· Enthusiasm for learning and working with children
· Ability to communicate effectively with children and
colleagues.
· Caring, friendly, approachable, open, welcome and
personable.
· Able to work under direction but use own initiative
· Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Desirable
· An understanding of early childhood development and
learning
· Reflective approach and commitment to personal

· Able to provide consistently high levels of quality
care and education opportunities to all children
· Experience of supporting a child 1:1
· Paediatric First Aid
· Basic Food Hygiene
