Are you an organised, proactive and highly motivated professional with experience in school or business operations? We are seeking an exceptional Primary Academy Manager to play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day management of our academy.

Working closely with the Principal, an established school office team and regional support members, you will lead the academy's operational functions, ensuring the smooth running of administration, facilities, health and safety, governance and business support services. You will also manage office and site-based staff, helping to create an efficient, safe and welcoming environment where pupils and staff can thrive.

About the Role

As Primary Academy Manager, you will:

  • Lead the academy's administrative and operational services.
  • Manage facilities, premises, maintenance and health & safety compliance.
  • Line manage administration, site and non-educational support staff.
  • Oversee HR administration, recruitment and personnel processes.
  • Manage and oversee school systems, admissions, attendance, statutory returns and financial administration.
  • Support governance arrangements and compliance, including safeguarding records.
  • Work collaboratively with the Principal to drive continuous improvement across academy operations.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in office, business or operations management, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Has a strong understanding of health & safety, compliance and administrative systems.
  • Is confident using IT systems and managing data accurately.
  • Is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.

We Offer

  • The chance to make a real difference to the success of our academy and the outcomes for our pupils.

If you are a motivated professional with a passion for delivering high-quality operational support, we would love to hear from you. Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.  Please phone the office on 01782 973722 to speak to one of our principals, Mr B Grove or Mrs E Walker, in order to arrange a school visit.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
