Working under the direction of the Assistant
Headteacher (SENDCo and Inclusion), you will work
with colleagues, students, and their parents/carers to build strong, positive
relationships to enable all students to fulfil their potential. You will be
ambitious for the success of all students and will establish an environment
where high expectations and targeted support are fully embedded.
This
role is central to ensuring that students who are unable or struggling to
access the full mainstream curriculum are supported to remain engaged in
learning and make strong academic progress. You will work with students in our
Inclusion Workroom, supporting them to complete curriculum work, develop
independence and overcome barriers to learning.
In
addition, you will deliver targeted maths support to small groups of students
in Years 9–11, helping them to build confidence and secure key skills.
We are
looking for someone who:

Has experience
supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
·
Has strong
numeracy skills and confidence supporting maths learning
·
Builds
positive relationships and has high expectations for all learners
·
Can create a
calm, structured and purposeful learning environment
This is
