We are looking to appoint a permanent, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for 32.5 hours per week, term time only basis to join our team at Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School to work within Nursery and to cover PPA.
This exciting role will involve leading and driving forward our nursery provision while also providing high-quality PPA cover across Reception to Year 6. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences, committed to inclusion and able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. You will be joining a talented and supportive staff team within a high-quality learning environment, where professional collaboration is valued and every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. This role will advance pupils’ learning in a range of classroom settings, including working with individual pupils or groups and whole classes where the assigned teacher is not present, e.g. PPA time or covering short term absence. Activities involve planning, preparing and delivering learning lessons as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class/subject teacher.
