The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher to be the strategic lead for our ASC Resource Provision at Kelvin Hall School. Someone who can lead, inspire and manage by setting the strategic direction, ensuring we meet the needs of students with ASC as their primary need.
You will support a small, skilled team to enable students to also access a mainstream curriculum as much as possible, delivering individual programmes of work and ensuring quality support for students. The role extends to working in collaboration with relevant agencies to ensure outstanding provision and outcomes.
The role also includes:
Leading and holding accountability for a small team working in the provision of a quality and bespoke curriculum.
Contributing to the school’s commitment to inclusive education.
Providing regular and effective communication to all stakeholders.
Organising and leading regular meetings with parents/carers and agencies.

We are looking for someone who:
Fully understands the needs of students with ASC and how to successfully integrate those students into mainstream lessons.
Has excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, parents/carers and agencies.
The position demands high professional standards and experience of working with adolescents/young adults.
