About this Role

Our School

Adlington Primary School is an outstanding school in the village of Adlington, near to Macclesfield.  Our school motto is ‘Inspire, Believe, Succeed.’  We create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure and can be encouraged to develop a love of learning in a secure and caring environment.

The role

We are looking for someone who loves working with young children and understands how to nurture and encourage them.  The successful candidate will provide nurturing and consistent 1:1 support tailored to the needs outlined in the pupil's Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), helping them to feel safe, included and ready to learn.  You will be a key support for the child you work with and will liaise with other members of staff, parents and professionals to support their needs.  

The role is for 16 hours per week:

  • Mondays (8.30am-3.30pm)
  • Tuesdays (8.30am-3.30pm)
  • Wednesdays (8.30am-12.00pm)
