Chadwell St Mary Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a child within our friendly and supported team. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday 8.40am until 3.15pm. This role will also include additional Midday Assistant duties. Our Learning Support Assistants believe in building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues, are passionate about their role, and are willing to go the extra mile to support pupil achievement.


 

You will:

  • Be positive and encouraging to enthuse and motivate pupils; 

  • Have high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour; 

  • Be patient, caring and have understanding and compassion for children with social, emotional and mental health needs;

  • Be self-reflective about your professional development and your child-centered support of pupils; 

  • Be flexible, adaptable and confident.
