Location:  Highfield Ely Academy, Ely, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Permanent, Part Time
Working Pattern: 25 hours per week 39 week contract. 4:30-9:30 pm Monday to Friday
Salary: ALT Grade A Point 2 (£14,071.35 Actual)

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the difference a well-kept learning environment makes. In this role, you will help maintain high standards across the school through daily cleaning routines, safe use of equipment and close attention to health and safety. You will be part of a supportive team where people matter, working with warmth and professionalism to contribute to a calm, well-organised and caring community.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks across the school, including dusting, vacuuming, washing, polishing and toilet cleaning.
  • Support specialised cleaning programmes during school closures or designated periods.
  • Restock soap, paper towels and other supplies, and store equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Report safety concerns, low stock levels, faults or hazards promptly to the line manager.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment by following health and safety procedures and assisting in preparing rooms and work areas.
