About this Role

Beckfoot Heaton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives. As a  Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed. We are looking for someone who: 

  • Will champion our school values of Growth-Commitment-Integrity 
  • Is committed to improving the lives of young people, especially those with barriers to their learning 
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport 
  • Works well in a team and is confident in working independently when needed

 Permanent, part time, 35 hours 20 mins per week, term time only. Working pattern is 8.10am to 4.05pm Monday, 8.10am to 4.20pm Tuesday, 8.10am to 3.25pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
