About this Role

We are looking for a highly effective, experienced Class Teacher to join our vibrant and diverse school in September 2025.  This Year Group Leader role will be based in Year 3, in the first instance, and the role holder will have Art & DT curriculum responsibility. 

Greet School is a 4-form entry primary school in the heart of Sparkhill providing the best education for children in an area experiencing high levels of deprivation.

This exciting role will be key to our school improvement plan and will appeal to talented, ambitious teachers seeking opportunities to develop their coaching and leadership skills and with a particular interest in Art & DT.

Key Responsibilities:

·       To be accountable and responsible for high quality teaching and learning across the year group.

·       To support senior leaders with the pastoral welfare of all pupils including behaviour, attendance and safeguarding (in liaison with other leaders and DSLs).

·       To support senior leaders in providing professional leadership – focusing mainly on classroom practice -in order to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.

·       To be a member of the school’s Leadership Team (middle leadership).

·       To carry out the professional duties of a teacher, meeting the Teachers’ Standards.

·       To promote the principles, values and policies of Create Partnership Trust

·       To promote the school’s mission, ethos and values.

 

You will have the following skills/ experience:

·       A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.

·       The ability to coach and motivate colleagues to achieve individual and collective targets.

·       Experienced of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.

·       Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.

·       Strong subject knowledge across the Early Years.
