Primary School Caretaker - Catcliffe Primary School.
Catcliffe Primary School is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Caretaker to join our friendly and dedicated team on a permanent full-time basis.
Working Hours:
6:00am – 10:30am (Monday to Thursday) 6:00am – 10am (Friday)
3:00pm – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)
These split shifts total 37 hours per week, offering a structured schedule with time between shifts during the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the school premises and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Opening and closing the school buildings each day
Carrying out minor repairs, decorating, and general maintenance tasks
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
Monitoring cleaning standards and working with external contractors when necessary
Supporting with site security, deliveries, and equipment set-up as required

A dependable individual with a strong work ethic
Basic maintenance and DIY skills
Good communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude and the ability to work independently
Previous caretaking or site management experience (desirable but not essential)
