Position: Lunchtime Supervisor (Maternity Cover until 31st August 2026)
Contract Type: Part-Time (6.25 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)

Are you passionate about supporting children and creating a safe, happy environment during lunchtime? Lower Meadow Primary Academy is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team. We are a welcoming, inclusive school in Sheffield, part of Astrea Academy Trust. We embrace curiosity, empathy, and resilience, and offer a nurturing environment where children thrive academically and socially through high expectations and strong community values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during the lunch period, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Promote positive behaviour and good manners.
  • Support children in the dining hall and playground.
  • Encourage inclusive play and social interaction.
  • Administer basic first aid when required.
