You will work closely with students, parents, teaching staff, employers, and external agencies to ensure our careers provision is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students as they make informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways, while working collaboratively with staff, employers, colleges, universities, and external partners to deliver an outstanding careers programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and promoting the school's careers programme across all year groups.
  • Organising careers events, employer encounters, workshops, college and university visits, and work-related learning opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting the school's careers strategy and quality assurance.
  • Building strong partnerships with employers, training providers, higher education institutions, and external organisations.
  • Supporting students with progression opportunities and helping them develop employability skills.
  • Monitoring destinations data and contributing to continuous improvement of careers provision.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Be passionate about supporting young people to achieve their aspirations.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, employers, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills.
  • Experience in careers education, education, youth services, or a related field is desirable, although training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
