About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school kitchen, helping to provide nutritious, high-quality meals for our pupils. Working as part of a friendly and supportive catering team, you will play an important role in ensuring the kitchen operates safely, efficiently and in line with food hygiene standards.
Main duties of the role include:
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of school meals.
- Presenting and serving food and beverages to pupils in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and catering environment in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high-quality catering service.
