Are you ready to make a profound impact on children’s lives every single day? E-ACT Ventures Academy—Bristol’s specialist centre of excellence—is searching for an inspiring Speech and Language Therapist to lead and deliver exceptional, evidence-based SALT across our three vibrant academy sites.

Your work will help unlock communication, confidence, and opportunity for every child who walks through our doors.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality SALT support at universal, targeted, and specialist levels across the three academy sites, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
• Work within a highly skilled, multi-agency team—including Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy colleagues, teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders—to meet the holistic needs of pupils.
• Embed effective communication strategies throughout the academy to ensure all pupils are able to fully engage with learning and school life.
• Support the wider cognitive, social, and emotional development of pupils, working closely with education, therapy, and leadership teams to maximise progress.
• Ensure that all pupils, regardless of their level of need, receive appropriate support within their daily learning environments.

Pay range: 

• NJC 32-39 £40,576.40 - £47,613.98 - FTE £42,839.00 - £50,269.00, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Degree in Language Therapy or equivalent.
• Membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial with students, families and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and implement effective therapy interventions for various communication disorders
