We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant to to support the delivery of speech, language, and communication interventions for pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with speech, language and communication needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with speech, language and communication needs.
• Support children in developing vocabulary, social communication and expressive/receptive language.
• Adapt activities and resources to ensure inclusive access to learning.
• Track and record pupil progress and contribute to support plans.
• Create and adapt visual aids, communication boards and therapy materials to meet pupils' needs.

Pay range: 

• NJC19-23 - £28,198.53 - £30,285.65. FTE £32,061.00 - £34,434.00. 37 hrs per week, 39 weeks per year

 Qualifications and Skills: 

• GCSE Maths and English 4 or above (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and a strong team player
• Be able to relate to all students, staff and parents from a variety of ages, abilities and backgrounds in a positive and constructive way.
