The School:
Located in the semi-rural village of Swanwick on the
Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border and within easy reach of the M1, Swanwick
Hall is an 11-18 school with over 1,000 students situated on a beautiful
23-acre site around a Grade 2 listed Hall.

The role:
The Family Welfare Officer is required to improve pupil
progress and attendance while supporting the pupils in school, and their
families whose difficulties are providing significant barriers to their
learning journey. Providing early intervention, working with external agencies
and signposting support during stressful periods.
The person:
The successful candidate
will be confident, sensitive and have the ability to support and empower people
to provide support for them to overcome their challenges. They need to be able
to show they can effectively manage challenging behaviour from pupils, and
family members, and demonstrates an understanding of Safeguarding issues.
