Salary: £24,796 FTE
Hours: 7.30am – 8.30am and 3pm- 4pm

St Mary and St Peter Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable before school and after school worker to join our dedicated team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support children in a nurturing and welcoming school environment, helping to provide high-quality care before and after the school day.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of our wraparound provision, creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children aged 3–11. This includes supervising activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the wellbeing of all children in your care.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is warm, nurturing and committed to supporting children’s wellbeing
  • Has strong organisational and communication skills
  • Can plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities
  • Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and child protection

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
  • Food hygiene and First Aid qualifications are desirable (training can be provided)
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training
