Term Time only, plus 5 Inset days, plus 5 additional days in school holidays

Salary: RG4b Pt19-22- £32,061- £33,699

Pro rata salary £28,153.65-£29,591.82

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a compassionate and diligent Family Support Worker who has:

        Experience of working within a school, educational or social care environment in a professional capacity (Local Authority Family and Social Workers most welcome to apply).

        Demonstrable experience of working with children and families in a safeguarding or support role (including supporting families of children with SEND).

        Caring and compassionate nature to support families in crisis or with additional needs.

        Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation in education settings.

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals.

        Confidence in handling confidential and sensitive information with care and professionalism to support families in difficulty.
