About this Role

Elston Hall Learning Trust is seeking a highly skilled and committed SENDCO to join our team from the new academic year. This dual-role post combines a Trust-wide strategic remit with the responsibility of being the nominated SENDCO at Palmers Cross Primary School. It is an exciting opportunity to support and shape SEND across EHLT at this time of important change.

At Palmers Cross, you will work collaboratively with all staff to ensure that pupils with SEND are fully supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally and given the opportunity to flourish. Central to the role is close partnership working with parents and carers, as well as effective collaboration with external agencies, to provide a team around the child approach. You will also work alongside special schools and support the successful transition of SEND pupils to secondary education where appropriate. Palmers Primary School has a 30 place Speech and Language BASE.

The Trust element of the role will involve providing expert advice, guidance and casework support to SENDCOs and SEN staff across the Trust. You will work closely with senior leadership teams to help shape inclusive practice, strengthen provision and ensure consistency and quality of SEND support across all Trust schools.

This post would suit a SEND professional who is passionate about inclusion and deeply committed to ensuring that all children with SEND are supported to achieve their full potential.

Elston Hall Learning Trust is dedicated to achieving the highest standards in education, striving for excellence in all areas of learning and ensuring that both pupils and staff are supported to reach their full potential. We invest in the professional growth of our people and offer various opportunities for professional development to help you continuously improve and advance in your career.

You will be part of a supportive community where teamwork and shared goals are highly valued. Our Trust fosters an inclusive culture, ensuring a positive and nurturing environment for everyone.

Visits to the school would be warmly welcomed. To arrange a visit please contact the school office on 01902 558322.
