Elston Hall Learning Trust is seeking a highly skilled and
committed SENDCO
to join our team from the new academic year. This dual-role post combines a
Trust-wide strategic remit with the responsibility of being the nominated
SENDCO at Palmers
Cross Primary School. It is an exciting opportunity to support
and shape SEND across EHLT at this time of important change.
At Palmers Cross, you will work collaboratively with all staff to
ensure that pupils with SEND are fully supported to thrive academically,
socially and emotionally and given the opportunity to flourish. Central to the
role is close partnership working with parents and carers, as well as effective
collaboration with external agencies, to provide a team around the child
approach. You will also work alongside special schools and support the
successful transition of SEND pupils to secondary education where appropriate.
Palmers Primary School has a 30 place Speech and Language BASE.
The Trust element of the role will involve providing expert
advice, guidance and casework support to SENDCOs and SEN staff across the
Trust. You will work closely with senior leadership teams to help shape
inclusive practice, strengthen provision and ensure consistency and quality of
SEND support across all Trust schools.
This post would suit a SEND professional who is passionate about
inclusion and deeply committed to ensuring that all children with SEND are
supported to achieve their full potential.
