Lunchtime Supervisor

 

Contract Type:  Permanent, 38 weeks per year.

Pay Grade: Grade C3

Full Time Salary: £24,796

Actual Salary: £4,216.80

Starting: April 2026

 

We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work 7.5 hours per week, term time, Monday – Friday, within a team to make the lunchtime experience for our children positive, happy and healthy.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

  • who will strive to make the lunchtime experience for our children as positive as possible by building good relationships and responding to playground issues fairly.
  • who understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy.
  • has high expectations of healthy eating and table manners and supports the children to develop good eating habits.
  • understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct.
  • who is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
  • Is an energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models our values and ethos at all times.
  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.
