The posts involve promoting and supervising active play and ensuring the safety of all children. We are looking for someone who is committed to working with children and can provide a safe and nurturing environment. You will be able to plan sessions, provide fun activities, order and prepare simple snacks, use your initiative and maintain a high quality environment that children thrive in.
Ideally, you will:
- Be able to build good relationships with children, staff and parents and be a friendly and positive presence in our school;
- Have good English and Maths skills;
- Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries;
- Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
- Be able to use your own initiative when required;
- Have experience in a similar role in a school;
L2 Food Hygiene training will need to be completed for these roles. This is an online course provided by the Trust.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and social media online check.
