About this Role
We are seeking a proactive and caring Pastoral Assistant to join our secondary school, supporting students to achieve positive personal, social and academic outcomes. Working closely with the Pastoral Lead, teaching staff and families, you will play an important role in promoting student wellbeing, attendance and engagement in learning. Through day-to-day pastoral support, effective communication and early intervention, you will help students overcome challenges, build confidence and develop the skills needed to succeed. The ideal candidate will be approachable, organised and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
St Wilfrid’s RC College is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust includes five Secondary and twenty-five Primary Schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.
