We are looking to appoint a highly-motivated and committed Site Manager, who can support and enhance our learning environments and oversee the daily management of the school site, ensuring the highest levels of safety and hygiene.
Burnt Ash Primary School is an oversubscribed; Ofsted rated Outstanding; stand-alone academy and whilst we work collaboratively with local and national schools, being independent gives us the ability to tailor every aspect of our school to our pupils’ and the wider community’s needs.
This post
is offered with a 3 bedroom modernised first floor flat, at a reduced rent of
£350 per month after successful completion of a probation period. This post
could also be non-residential.
Hours: 36 hours per week for
52 weeks per year - shift pattern
Key Responsibilities

To
contribute to the smooth running of the school by effective management and
organisation of all matters and personnel related to the school premises and
site.
·
To
carry out a range of caretaking duties including day to day security and
supervision of the site, and other duties such as porterage, repairs and
maintenance.
·
To
ensure that the premises and grounds are always well maintained and in line
with the school’s high standards.
·
To
ensure the site and premises provide a clean, safe and secure environment for
pupils, staff and other stakeholders in school.

completed as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates, searching

opportunity to address these at interview. An Enhanced DBS certificate will be
required on provisional offer, including a check of the Children’s Barred List.
Further vetting checks, in line with the requirements of Keeping children safe in education 2025, will be completed following
a provisional offer of employment. Where applicable, if an applicant with a
provisional offer of employment has lived or worked outside the UK, they will
be required to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct.
