and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team at Westerton
Primary Academy.
Westerton Primary Academy is proud to be an

Who are we looking for?
Step into a rewarding role as a Higher
Level Teaching Assistant, where you’ll play a vital part in helping our
children succeed and thrive.
In this dynamic position, you will contribute
to the planning, delivery and assessment of lessons across all year groups,
supporting high-quality teaching and learning throughout the school. You may be
called upon to cover teacher release time or absence, and there may also be
opportunities to lead teaching in specific subjects across the Academy.
As a valued HLTA, you will work
collaboratively with teaching staff, supporting the full planning cycle and
helping to prepare and manage learning resources. You will supervise whole
classes during short-term teacher absences, while also using your advanced
knowledge and skills to support pupils’ progress, monitor achievement and
encourage independent learning.
Beyond the classroom, you will play a key role
in promoting pupil welfare, supporting inclusion, and contributing to the
development of support staff, as well as academy policies and strategies. Your
work will make a meaningful difference every day, raising standards of
achievement and ensuring every pupil can engage fully in all aspects of academy
life.
