St Georges CofE (Aided) Primary School are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, part-time Handy Person to work alongside the school’s site team. The role is to support the Site Manager and Senior Leadership Team by carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs and general site duties to ensure the school environment remains safe, well maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, flexible and able to
work well as part of a team. They will have good practical skills, strong
communication abilities, and a sound understanding of health and safety
requirements within public buildings.
This post is for 8 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks). Flexibility available; scheduled hours can be discussed and agreed at interview. There may also be occasional weekend working, with time off in lieu of weekday hours.
