This voluntary role offers a rewarding opportunity to use your skills and experience—particularly if you are a retired professional, former teacher, or someone with a strong interest in education—to help shape the future of a local school.
As a Community Governor, you will work collaboratively with school leaders and fellow governors to provide strategic oversight, support and constructive challenge. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of education, safeguarding, and inclusion, while helping the school respond effectively to the needs of its community.
