About the Role
Oak Lodge Primary is part of Mosaic Schools Learning Trust who are committed to keeping each school's unique individuality and ensuring that every decision is about the children within its schools. Each school within the Trust has a Local Governing Board (LGB) who play a vital role in supporting and challenging the school leaders whilst providing a key link for the Trust Board within the governance framework. The role of Community Governor is an opportunity to support the school whilst providing strategic oversight and challenge.
Key Purpose
The Community Governor as a member of the LGB is responsible for monitoring the academic standards, following the Trust's vision and values and ensuring strong community engagement.

Mosaic Schools Learning Trust (formed on the 1st September 2024 following the merger between Connect Schools Academy Trust and Compass Academy Trust) is a group of schools based in Bromley and Kent: Cage Green Primary School, Crofton Infant School, Crofton Junior School, Marian Vian Primary School, Oak Lodge Primary School, Raglan Primary School, River Mill Primary School, Unicorn Primary School, Valley Primary School and Wickham Common Primary School.
